Our Founders

I am Taara Reddy. My brothers and I are thrilled to be the co-founders of

REDDY2STRIKE, an organization to help open doors, using our love of golf and

soccer. Through my elementary and high school experiences, I have ultimately

found my passion in community service. I love being a part of positive change,

even if the change is small. Throughout my childhood, I have grown to appreciate

the value of empathy. A significant part of my character has always been

influenced by looking at situations from other’s perspectives. Even though I can

never truly know what one is going through, I try to put myself in their shoes. I am

on my way to becoming a sophomore and excited to continue my Varsity Golf

journey. Golf has been a part of my life since the fourth grade and has taught me

valuable lessons on and off the course. It is a sport that can be played

competitively, recreationally, and solo as a time of reflection and one can play it for

a lifetime. It has taught me discipline, sportsmanship, compartmentalization, and

most importantly cooperation. Whether it be with your fellow golfers, yourself, or

the golf ball. “ Golf is the closest game to the game we call life. You get bad breaks

with good shots and good breaks from bad shots, but you have to play the ball

where it lies.”

Welcome to my soccer world! My name is Vaayu and I’m 14 years old and have

been playing soccer since I was 4 years old. Soccer is my passion and huge part of

who I am. The sport has taught me determination, tenacity, collaboration,

commitment, and many more life skills. Since my first time stepping onto a field

my love of soccer continues to grow. Every kick, pass, move and goal bring me

closer to reaching my full potential. I have been fortunate that my family has been

able to support my soccer development and I have had access to training,

equipment and various soccer teams with experienced coaches. The reality is that

sports can be costly and not all players have the resources to develop and strive for

higher levels. Through this organization I want to help support other athletes in

their success in soccer. I want give them opportunities to build their confidence,

benefit from growth and happiness that soccer brings and chase their dreams.

I am Dylan Reddy, I am excited to start REDDY2STRIKE with my brother and

sister. Soccer is my passion. My journey for soccer started when I was 3 years old

and currently I am playing high level club soccer. During this process, I’ve put in

hard work, experienced failures and successes, persevered to develop my skills and

have enjoyed just playing the game. I have been fortunate that my family was able

to provide me with all the resources and tools I needed without financial hardships.

My goal is to build a more inclusive soccer community by engaging my local

communities and providing accessibility to young players. Ultimately and most

important is to have fun and a great time.
